Who We Are

Troop 258 & Troop 358 are young, active youth-led scout troops in the Cedar Park and Leander Texas area that meet every week, camp every month, and provide a solid framework for outstanding Scouting experiences.
We are affiliated with and meet at Rockbridge Church every Tuesday at 7pm CT. 2001 West New Hope Drive Cedar Park, TX 78613 Troop 258 & Troop 358 are charted by the Capitol Area Council, North Shore District. Youth can join Troops 258 & 358 if they are at least 10 years old and in fifth grade (must register on or after March 1st); OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old, OR are age 11 but have not reached age 18. 2024 Recharter numbers: 42 youth with 258, 19 youth with 358, and 34 active leaders for both troops. Troop 258 & Troop 358 are linked troops that grew from the traditions and legacies of Troop 158 and Crew 158. Our scouting units are supported by Rockbridge Church. Camping & Costs Monthly campouts are usually on the 1st weekend every month. Campouts are $20 per normal event to cover the cost of food, consumables, and campsites. Scouting America registration is $85 paid annually Troop dues are $11/month to cover equipment, awards, and other expenses.
